Bodrum - an alternative for gays and lesbians
International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) leader Carlos Kytka, who traveled to Turkey for the International Gay Travel Symposium, expressed his admiration for Bodrum. Kytka also said more gay and lesbian travelers would start preferring Bodrum for their holidays.
“Our 1,200 affiliated agencies have a market share that amounts to $60 billion. Why should Bodrum and Turkey not get its share? I know a number of gay celebrities who are living in Bodrum. “Gays and lesbians around the world are fed up with going to Paris, Hawaii, London and Mykonos. Our current aim is to launch preparations for making Bodrum the new destination for gay and lesbian travelers,” said Kytka, and noted the conditions Bodrum provides are quite positive.
